Sponsorship – 2020 Mud Trail
The Mud Trail event is only made possible by the generous support of our local sponsors.
As things slowly return to normal it is great to know that the famous North Coast Mud Trail will be on again in 2020 and I am taking this early opportunity to present you with a great advertising opportunity.
In 2020, North Coast Ceramics Inc will once again print 10,000 fold-out Maps indicating where participating ceramic studios will be situated in our North Coast region. You now have the chance to advertise on the Map!
This year, we are offering only two sizes of available ads. The available spaces are: 5cm x 4.5cm for $200 or a “double” ad of 9.5cm x 4.5cm for $400. Full colour print.
As you know these Maps are eagerly sought after by the hundreds of visitors who travel the Mud Trail – and represent incredible value to your business, targeting ceramic and art lovers in particular.
In the post CoVid world, we have decided to constrain our usual full colour stapled brochure format in favour of a handy fold-out A3 Map. As such there will only be limited space for advertisers – so make sure you are one of them!
We understand that your business may have gone through some hard times, but we are certain you will be keener than ever to advertise direct to your target market now things are opening up. We urge you to call Jacqui, the North Coast Mud Trail’s co-ordinator, on 0411 424031 to secure your spot on the Map and on the popular website (www.northcoastmudtrail.com.au) at your earliest opportunity.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Deadline Date: We require payment, finished art, logo, contact details (address for Pin) by June 12th 2020

The North Coast Mud Trail is only made possible by the generous support of our local advertisers. This sponsorship offers a fantastic opportunity for your business to be “on the map” and be an integral part of people’s weekend as they travel around to visit the participating Open Studios. This year is the 8th consecutive year of the Trail and it has become a popular event which is looked forward to by all ceramic lovers and visitors coming from far afield as well as hundreds of locals.
If your business has anything to do with ceramics, if your clientele appreciates hand-made ceramics, or if your business offers food or coffee or a great stop for visitors on the Mud Trail then you should advertise on the map!
Your advertising contribution goes towards printing the Mud Trail Map (10,000 to be printed this year and widely distributed around all Northern Rivers towns) and promotion of the event in all the media (T.V., Radio, Newspapers, Social Media) and on this website. Your sponsorship also will appear on the interactive map which most visitors view on to their mobile phones.
ABOUT THE EVENT
BE PART OF AUSTRALIAN CERAMICS OPEN STUDIOS 2020 ON THE NSW NORTH COAST!
This August literally hundreds of potters and ceramic artists around the country will open their studios to the public for the fifth annual Australian Ceramics Open Studios. This national event is hosted by the Australian Ceramics Association.
As part of this initiative, on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2020, around 20 Northern NSW potters in idyllic locations, from the hinterland to the coast, will open their studio doors for the 2020 North Coast Mud Trail.
This year, the potters, together with select sponsors from the local business community, will publish a North Coast Mud Trail fold out map. This map will include information about each of the potters participating in the Mud Trail and will also indicate the location of all potters and a limited selection of sponsors.
Sponsorship does NOT include your business as an open studio or ceramics retail outlet. The focus of the Mud Trail is to invite people to see artists at work in their studios, the majority of which are not usually open to the public. All the open studios on the Mud Trail have to be members of The Australian Ceramics Association and registered as an Open Studio on their site as well as with our own North Coast Mud Trail registration. This is not an opportunity to market ceramics at a retail location. Thank you for respecting the spirit of this event and all the work that goes into creating it.
