8. KERAMIKA Ceramics

A collection of ceramic works inspired by nature and every day rituals.

Artist Tali Cohen-Flantz is the artist behind Keramika Ceramics, her light filled studio is housed at the vibrant Depot art centre in the heart of Mullumbimby.

Her work crosses between mixed-media installation, sculpture, and functional ceramics. Her work is inspired by nature’s abundance and its ever changing colours and shades.

Her functional ceramics are produced using traditional techniques by ‘throwing’, slip-casting and hand building using slabs and coils of stoneware and porcelain clay.
Tali’s work has been published in the famous ‘500’ Lark series ‘500 Prints on Clay’.

Tali Teach ceramic classes and workshops on regular basis from her studio and part of Byron community college.
