After 40 years I have returned to one of my first loves – ceramics. In 2016 I completed a diploma in ceramics at Lismore TAFE. Currently I am enrolled in an Advanced Diploma. I share our backyard studio (which fronts on to Murphy’s Lane) with my husband, Sam, who is also an artist. My ceramic practise in mainly one of experimentation and I continually try to push the boundaries and not just be a production potter.  I have just returned from yet another trip to Japan, this time focusing on the pottery towns. I hope my new work reflects the influence of this amazing aesthetic.
